What is UOWWP?

UOWWP is a Club Sport at the University of Oregon. We are a student run, student funded program. Our mission is to allow the female students of the University of Oregon the opportunity to play water polo at a competitive level. The purpose of our club is:

  • To compete at the highest possible level,

  • To represent the University of Oregon with sportsmanship and honorable achievement,

  • To endorse team unity and joy of water polo, and

  • To continue to enhance and progress the water polo program in the Northwest.

Why is UOWWP important?

UOWWP is more than just a team. UOWWP is a family. Friendships that start in the pool last a lifetime. Our program has a long history of excellence with Division Titles ten out of the last eleven years! But as Mary Lou Retton once said, "a trophy gathers dust. Memories last forever." While we strive to be the best players we can be, we also love making hilarious, amazing memories with each other in and out of the pool.
